After your normal Hydra deposit is confirmed, your Main Wallet approves the exact pair balance, delegate and expiry. Keep the encrypted profile backup for device loss and separate delegate ADA collateral.

Unlock once. Manage pair orders with a local key.
Your Main Wallet allocates a chosen pair balance to an owner-controlled V2 state. A local delegate can place, amend and cancel its orders until expiry, without repeated wallet prompts. Unallocated funds stay untouched.
There is no on-chain side, price or order-size limit. A compromised local key can self-deal at a bad price and lose the entire allocated Fast Balance. App or bot rules do not remove this risk.
Encrypted storage protects the saved key, not an unlocked browser. Malicious site code, extensions or device compromise can steal or use an unlocked key. Use a strong unique password and only allocate funds you accept putting at risk.
The delegate cannot change the owner, transfer to another address or Head, spend Main Wallet inputs, deposit or withdraw on Cardano L1, stake, mint, govern or perform admin actions.
Your Fast Balance belongs to one trading pair and its Hydra Head. Fee tier and 30-day volume remain wallet-wide.
Fast Balance controls require a verified Minimal V2 deployment. Check system status; unavailable discovery does not establish that an existing balance is empty.

Unlock the pair key locally to manage funded orders. Expiry disables new delegate actions; it does not run a transaction or move funds automatically. A resting GTC order can remain fillable until owner recovery. Offline Grid and Market Making are not provided: an online executor and separately approved strategy authority would be required, not an upload of your browser key to BoltsDEX.
Your Main Wallet can recover whatever remains in the Fast Balance even if the local key is lost. Recovery returns the complete state to your ordinary balance inside Hydra; it needs neither the delegate nor its backup. Wait for confirmation, then use Transfers for a separate L1 withdrawal. Cardano confirmation, not HTTP acceptance, completes that exit.
A planned Head closure requires owner recovery of live Fast Balances and an exit window first. FanOut publishes the final Head outputs to Cardano L1 as they are; it does not unlock script-held funds automatically. The zero-minimum Preprod design is not Mainnet-qualified for this recovery case. New Mainnet Fast Trading remains disabled.
