Makers pay 0.00% on every listed pair. Takers pay the confirmed quote-asset rate published on the Fees page.
Deposits, placements and cancellations require your wallet. Keys never enter the web app or gateway.
The website and direct trading clients consume the same confirmed REST and WebSocket state.
$BOLTS · PLANNED UTILITY
$BOLTS is designed around exchange activity: fixed wallet-balance tiers, volume-based fee adjustments and direct claims on collected protocol fees. The staking and claim system is not active yet.
Eligibility is based on wallet $BOLTS balances. The approved model does not lock tokens in a staking contract.
Protocol fees are grouped into fixed reward periods and allocated pro rata from the epoch snapshot.
Nine balance tiers run from Regular through VIP 8, with a separate 30-day volume multiplier and fee floor.
Rewards remain denominated in the collected fee asset. Merkle claims do not expire; claimants pay their L1 fee.

No — BoltsDEX is a central limit orderbook. You place bids and asks at explicit prices instead of swapping against a liquidity-pool curve.
Your Cardano wallet does. The gateway prepares valid transactions, while deposits, orders and cancellations remain wallet-authorized.
Deposit selected Cardano L1 outputs into the Hydra Head. Approve the prepared transaction in your wallet, then wait for confirmed Head state before the funds become available to trade.
Yes. Direct clients use the same versioned REST and WebSocket contract as the web app, with their own request identity and wallet-authorized order flow.
Makers pay 0.00% on every listed pair. Takers currently pay the confirmed base rate shown on the Fees page. $BOLTS balance and 30-day volume discounts are part of the published model but are not active on Preprod yet.
$BOLTS is the fee-tier and protocol-reward asset. Its approved model uses wallet-balance snapshots, volume multipliers and 15-day reward epochs; staking and claims open only after those systems are implemented.
